 The Demand for Good Governance Project (DfGG), subject to final approval, will befunded jointly by AusAID (Australian Agency for International Development) and the World Bank from January 2009. The project will operate as a partnership between Radio National of Kampuchea (RNK) and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) to help develop RNK’s operational and professional capacity. The ABC will be contracted to manage and administer the RNK component of the DFGG, which is the successor project to a program of assistance the ABC is currently delivering to RNK, funded by AusAID.  The ABC is seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals to work as either a Content Development Advisor or an Organisational Development Advisor with RNK in Phnom Penh.  The Content Development Advisor will assist in developing RNK’s scheduling and programming, the quality of its program production, news and talkback radio formats, and in introducing regular feature programs. The Organisational Development Advisor will assist RNK to identify and achieve its goals through organisational leadership, planning, development, management systems and internal staff capacity-building to improve its overall performance.  In addition to their specific professional capabilities, the successful candidates will have significant experience of capacity-building projects in developing countries, strong interpersonal communication skills and a good understanding of the Cambodian context.
